Davis Polk Partners to Speak at Seminar on the Impact of U.S. Regulatory Reform on Global Banks at the New York Federal Reserve

Davis Polk partners Luigi De Ghenghi, Randall Guynn, Annette Nazareth, and Margaret Tahyar will be among the speakers at the Center for Transnational Legal Studies’ (CTLS) seminar, Impact of U.S. Regulatory Reform on Global Banks.

As editor of the 7th edition of Regulation of Foreign Banks & Affiliates in the United States (forthcoming 2013), which is published by the CTLS, Guynn will serve as master of ceremonies and provided comments on the themes of the day.

De Ghenghi will serve as a panelist on the U.S. implementation of Basel III and the other enhanced capital and liquidity standards facing banking organizations.

Nazareth will speak on a session about Section 716 of the Dodd-Frank Act, widely known as the swaps pushout rule.

Tahyar will moderate a panel on the Volcker Rule’s restrictions on proprietary trading and relationships with hedge funds and private equity funds.

The program will be held on February 12 at the New York Federal Reserve.
