Davis Polk lawyers Annette Nazareth and Susan Ervin will be among the speakers at the Winter Meeting of the ABA Business Law Section’s Derivatives & Futures Committee. The program will be held January 22-24, 2015, in Naples, Florida.
Nazareth will speak on the “Dodd-Frank at age 5: What Lies Ahead?” panel, which will address the impact of Dodd-Frank on markets and market participants; open issues yet to be resolved; issues needing reexamination; and cross-border developments.
Ervin will chair the “Financial and Non-Financial End Users” panel, which will review topical issues for both financial and non-financial end users, including end-user perspectives on clearing house risks; key concerns raised by the CFTC’s proposed margin regime for uncleared swaps; swap-clearing exemption for treasury affiliates; and the ISDA 2014 Resolution Stay Protocol.
