Position Summary

The Coordinator, Wellness is a member of the Benefits team within the Davis Polk Human Resources department.  The Coordinator, Wellness will provide administrative and logistical support to help promote the seamless and effective execution of the firm’s wellness programs and initiatives.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support the development and implementation of wellness programs under the direction of senior team members
  • Assist with program planning activities, including scheduling, communications, and other logistical support
  • Coordinate and collaborate across the firm’s offices to support their wellness objectives
  • Assist with efforts to gather feedback on wellness programming and to assess opportunities for new or revised programming
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wellness third-party providers
  • Manage the monthly wellness calendar
  • Assist with wellness communications, including monthly newsletters, website campaigns, and marketing materials, within the firm’s style guidelines
  • Track program participation rates and outcomes
  • Ensure the success of ongoing wellness initiatives
  • Review and reconcile all monthly, quarterly, and annual invoices associated with the firm wellness program, and track spend against budget
  • Assist with special projects
  • Provide other administrative and logistical support as requested
Qualifications / Position Requirements
  • Commitment to high quality work and excellent client service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to proofread typed material for typographical, spelling, and grammatical errors
  • Exceptional skills in the Microsoft suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to follow up and see a task through to completion
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to multitask by accepting and prioritizing numerous requests
  • Willingness to take initiative
  • Interest in working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Must be punctual and reliable; professional and dependable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across a variety of stakeholders
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours when required
  • Commitment to handling information with appropriate confidentiality and sensitivity
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelors degree; degree or coursework in Human Resources, Communications and/or field that required significant written work preferred
  • 1+ years of experience working in Human Resources; experience in benefits or wellness preferred

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65,000 - $75,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Davis Polk offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
