On April 10-12, 2024, Davis Polk partners Sheila Adams James, Jarrett Arp, Ronan Harty and Jürgen Schindler and EU Antitrust special advisor Frances Dethmers will be among the speakers at the American Bar Association’s 2024 Antitrust Spring Meeting.

Sheila is co-chair of the event and will moderate the “Views from the bench” panel, which will cover how to approach and manage antitrust, consumer protection and privacy litigation cases. 

Jarrett will speak on the “Making your pitch to the government” panel. Topics discussed will include the most effective methods, strategies and arguments for making corporate and individual resolution pitches to the government in civil and criminal matters.

Jürgen will speak on the “Age of unpredictability in merger review” panel. Topics discussed will include how expansive approaches to jurisdiction, tougher reviews on the law/economics economics and changing guidelines and enforcement priorities are contributing to international merger control and FDI review
