We are providing pro bono assistance to six organizations which offer loans to overseas microfinance institutions which, in turn, will provide small business loans to poor entrepreneurs in developing countries.

Our most recent client is Grameen America, a not-for-profit microfinance organization with a mission to alleviate poverty through entrepreneurship. We are advising Grameen on general corporate, employee benefits, finance and real estate matters, including advising on regulatory issues in new U.S. markets, loan documentation and loan guarantee programs, employee packages and policies, and lease agreements. Grameen provides loans, savings programs, credit establishment and other financial services to the working poor, especially women, in the United States.
