Recently, we settled a decade-long dispute between our client, a mentally ill individual, and his landlord concerning his rent-stabilized apartment.

In addition, on behalf of MFY Legal Services and The Legal Aid Society, we have represented several groups of rent-controlled tenants who sought to prevent their landlords from using a fire that partially destroyed their apartments as a pretext to convert the building into luxury apartments. Most of these cases settled during or before trial with consent orders guaranteeing the full restoration of our clients to their former apartments.

We also assist on-going corporate pro bono clients BronxWorks, Hour Children and Settlement Housing Fund, among others, with real estate and corporate advice related to real estate matters.
