In January 2008, Davis Polk became involved with the Election Protection Coalition of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Since February 2008, we have hosted non-partisan voter call centers for general and primary elections and fielded hundreds of calls from voters in a number of states along the East Coast. At the call center we hosted for the 2008 Presidential Election, nearly 250 Davis Polk volunteers were involved and we handled more than 11,000 calls from voters in New York, South Carolina and Connecticut. We hosted another call center in November 2010.
