The shares sold by the selling stockholder represent the remaining portion of the 17.9 million shares it had received in connection with Smucker’s acquisition of Big Heart Pet Brands in March 2015 and 100% of the ownership interests attributable to affiliates of Vestar Capital Partners, Inc. The common stock is listed on the NYSE under the symbol “SJM.”
