Waide Warner
Partner

Mr. Warner is a member of Davis Polk’s Corporate Department. He heads our Project Finance Group and is active in other areas of the credit and structured finance practices, including acquisition finance, restructurings and derivatives. For more than 30 years, he has been involved in a wide range of U.S. and international financings and restructurings, debt and equity capital markets transactions and joint ventures, including a number of project financings executed simultaneously in the bond and commercial bank markets and involving international agency lenders and political risk insurers.

Mr. Warner has recently advised on project financings, structured financings and joint ventures in the oil and gas, petrochemical, minerals, transportation, telecommunications and power sectors in Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Qatar, Tunisia, Poland, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Thailand and Indonesia. He has also advised on a number of transnational projects, including undersea fiber optic cables, satellites and pipelines. His restructuring practice has involved both domestic and foreign debtors.
