Loyti Cheng
Counsel
Ms. Cheng is co-head of the Environmental Group in Davis Polk’s Corporate Department, concentrating in advising clients on a wide range of environmental matters, with a particular focus on environmental and toxic tort analysis and contractual allocation in the context of transactions, advice on disclosure obligations and climate change legislation and general advice relating to environmental claims, liabilities and corporate policies. She has represented U.S. and international companies, financial institutions, private equity and venture capital groups and other entities in numerous transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, real estate investments, securities offerings and bank lending transactions, including The AES Corporation, Emerson Electric, Roche Holdings and Quicksilver Resources Inc. as well as Metalmark Capital, Crestview Partners, Banc of America, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan and other major financial institutions.
