Mr. Gillespie is an associate in Davis Polk’s Corporate Department. Fluent in Japanese, he joined the Tokyo office in 2010. He focuses primarily on capital markets, where he has worked with U.S. and Japanese issuers in connection with the offering of securities in the United States. He has represented underwriters and issuers in SEC-registered debt and equity offerings, as well as global unregistered offerings of high-yield debt and convertible securities. In addition, he regularly works with foreign issuers listed in the United States in connection with their respective SEC and exchange reporting obligations.
