Lowell Gordon Harriss
Senior Counsel
Mr. Harriss is senior counsel in Davis Polk’s Litigation Department. He represents clients in a wide range of complex (often multi-court) civil litigation based on various federal and state law grounds, including complex class actions, bankruptcy and mass torts (involving asbestos, breast implants, drugs). He also represented Johns-Manville in its Chapter 11 reorganization and the restructuring of its asbestos claims trust and related litigation. Mr. Harriss has advised clients in the Owens Corning, Dow Corning and Drexel Burnham Lambert Chapter 11 proceedings, the AWP and other drug litigation. He has also advised clients with respect to proposed and actual transactions involving litigation components in connection with prospective purchases and sales in Chapter 11 proceedings and otherwise.
