Francis S. Currie
Partner
Mr. Currie is a member of Davis Polk’s Corporate Department and a founding partner of our Menlo Park office. He has also been active in the formation and operation of our Global Technology Group. He represents technology companies and their investors and advisers in mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and capital formation transactions, as well as in matters of corporate governance and securities law compliance. Mr. Currie also represents a number of funds for their fund formation matters.

Company Representations

Mr. Currie represents a number of private companies in their capital formation and strategic partnering transactions. He has represented a number of public technology and other companies in capital markets, merger and acquisition, and corporate governance matters, including Angie’s List (November 2011 IPO), Callidus Software, Williams-Sonoma, Cadence Design Systems, Vitesse Semiconductor, Robert Mondavi Corporation, Mercury Interactive Corporation, TheraSense, and the CNET Special Committee.

 

Adviser and Fund Formation Representations

Mr. Currie represents Code Advisors, an investment bank focused on technology and media companies, and represents DBL Equity Fund, Tallwood Ventures and MedVenture Associates, funds focused on venture and private equity investments in the social media, software, clean technology, semiconductor and medical device sectors.
