Ms. Dekhtyar Karczmer is counsel in Davis Polk’s Corporate Department and is assigned to the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Group. She advises clients on executive compensation and other employee benefit arrangements, with particular emphasis on issues arising in the contexts of merger and acquisition transactions. She also advises on employment and consulting arrangements, the applicability of federal securities and tax law to executives and employees and on general employment-related matters.

Her pro bono practice is varied, including work in conjunction with the Elderly Law Project, a municipal bond refinancing for a non-profit organization and employment-related advice in connection with the merger of two non-profit neighborhood organizations.
