Davis Polk partners Danforth Townley and Susan Ervin will be among the speakers at Practising Law Institute’s “Hedge Funds 2012: Strategies and Structures for an Evolving Marketplace.” Townley, who will also serve as chair of the program, will present “The Changing Regulatory Framework for Hedge Funds and Managers.” Ervin will present “Trading Issues Relating to Swaps Under Dodd-Frank.” The program will be held on September 5, 2012, in New York and via live webcast.

Davis Polk partner Nora Jordan, head of the firm’s Investment Management Group, will once again serve as chair of the New York City Bar Association’s annual “Hedge Funds in the Current Environment” program. Jordan will also participate on the "Hot Issues for Hedge Funds" panel. Fellow partner Leor Landa will speak on the "Trading Issues" panel, addressing new CFTC regulations and new regulations on swaps, derivatives and clearing. The program will be held on May 11, 2012.
