Davis Polk is a truly global firm with 10 offices in the world’s key financial centers. We principally staff our non-U.S. offices from New York, assigning associates to a rotation of two or more years at a given location, although a growing number of our lawyer assignments outside of the U.S. are longer-term as the firm continues to expand our presence internationally. In addition, because much of the work in our U.S. offices emanates from major corporations and financial institutions based overseas, our associates who work in the U.S. gain an exceptional amount of global exposure and international experience.
- 119 lawyers, including 96 associates, currently work in our non-U.S. offices
- 113 current lawyers in our U.S. offices, including 84 associates, have been assigned overseas during their careers at Davis Polk
- Approximately 43% of the firm’s principal clients are based outside of the United States.
