In 2008, 28 summer associates spent four or more weeks in one of our branch offices. In the last five years an average of 23 summer associates spent time in one of our branch offices. Many others work and travel domestically and internationally each summer.
Any summer associate who works 10 weeks or more in our summer program may request an overseas office rotation. Selection is based on many factors including necessary or helpful language skills, and relevant experience and interest in spending time overseas as part of one’s future professional development. Summer associates must accept their summer offer in order to be eligible for an overseas office rotation.
Upon returning to the firm as an associate, all corporate and tax associates may consider a branch office rotation, regardless of whether he or she went overseas during the summer.
