Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP advised Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Goldman, Sachs & Co. as representatives of the several underwriters on the $123 million initial public offering of 12,300,000 shares of STR Holdings, Inc. (STR). Of those shares, STR sold 3,300,000 shares and selling stockholders sold 9,000,000 shares. The underwriters also have an option to purchase an additional 1,845,000 shares from STR pursuant to an over-allotment option. STR’s common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “STRI.”

STR is a leading global provider of solar power module encapsulants as well as consumer product quality assurance.
