New York, NY Davis Polk partners Nora Jordan and Nicholas Kronfeld were panelists at Practising Law Institute’s “Global Capital Markets & the U.S. Securities Laws 2010: Strategies for the Changing Regulatory Environment” seminar. Jordan spoke on a panel entitled “Alternative Investment Vehicles,” which discussed prospects for hedge fund regulation, 1940 Act issues, EU and SEC approaches to alternative investment funds and the return of private equity. Kronfeld’s panel, “Hot Topics in Capital Markets,” looked at disclosure developments, cross-border rights offerings, pilot fishing and investor education, and rating agencies.
