The $37.25 billion agreement with General Electric to form the NBCUniversal joint venture
Its $1.05 billion investment in Clearwire Corporation
The $18 billion joint acquisition (with Time Warner) of Adelphia Communications
Its $52 billion acquisition of AT&T’s cable and broadband businesses
We advised PepsiCo on the corporate and antitrust aspects of its $7.8 billion acquisition of The Pepsi Bottling Group and PepsiAmericas.
We advised Citi on its joint venture with Morgan Stanley that combined Morgan Stanley’s Global Wealth Management Group and Citi’s Smith Barney retail brokerage units in the U.S., U.K. and Australia into a new entity, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
We advised Equinix on its acquisition of Switch & Data Facilities Company, including responding to a “second-request” investigation of the transaction by the Antitrust Division of the DOJ.
We served as U.S. counsel to the Swedish government in connection with its €5.6 billion sale of V&S Vin & Sprit, maker of Absolut Vodka, to French liquor company Pernod Ricard.
We advised Roche in connection with its successful $46.8 billion contested acquisition of Genentech.

We represented Argosy Gaming, a riverboat casino operator, in an FTC second-request investigation of its $2.2 billion acquisition by Penn National Gaming. The transaction was approved with the divestiture of one casino.
