New York, NY Davis Polk partners Martine Beamon and Linda Chatman Thomsen will be among the speakers at Practising Law Institute’s “Internal Investigations 2011: Investigations in the Aftermath of Dodd-Frank” program, which will be held in New York on June 28, 2011.

Beamon’s panel, “Commencing the Investigation: Considerations at the Outset,” will discuss when an investigation is warranted; who should conduct and oversee an investigation; the appropriate scope of an investigation; and other related issues. Thomsen will speak on the “Dealing With the Regulators” panel, addressing topics such as the regulators’ perspectives on internal investigations; why, when and how to disclose an investigation to regulators; and how to deal with whistleblower issues in a timely manner.
