New York, NY Davis Polk partners Manuel Garciadiaz and Deanna Kirkpatrick will be speakers at Practising Law Institute’s “How to Prepare an Initial Public Offering 2011” program, which will be held on March 9, 2011, in New York. Kirkpatrick will also serve as the event’s Co-chair.

Garciadiaz and Kirkpatrick will present “Special Considerations for Foreign Private Issuers and Corporate Governance Best Practices,” which will address issues specific to foreign private issuers contemplating an initial public offering, corporate governance practices for IPO companies and other recent developments affecting IPOs. Kirkpatrick will also present “An Overview of the IPO Registration Process” and “Comfort Letters and Accounting Considerations.”
