Chicago, IL Davis Polk partners Neil Barr and Kathleen Ferrell will be among the speakers at Practicing Law Institute’s “Tax Strategies for Corporate Acquisitions, Dispositions, Spin-Offs, Joint Ventures, Financings, Reorganizations & Restructurings 2011” program, which will be held November 15-17, 2011, in Chicago. Barr will speak on the "Current Issues in Tax-Free and Partially Tax-Free Acquisitive Reorganizations" panel, while Ferrell's panel will address “Topside Planning for Private Equity (and Hedge) Fund Investments.”
