Davis Polk partner Kathleen Ferrell is slated to chair a panel at the upcoming summer meeting of the New York State Bar Association’s Tax Section. Ferrell’s panel, “Ethical Issues in a Transactional Practice,” will consider ethical issues in a transactional context, an audit context and in confronting heightened transparency, including the proposed uncertain tax position disclosure. The event will be held July 9-11, 2010, in Saratoga Springs, New York.
