New York, NY Davis Polk partner Kathleen Ferrell will be a speaker at Penn State Law’s Eighth Annual Institute on Tax Aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions. This year’s program, scheduled for April 28-29, 2011, in New York, will focus on new approaches for economic recovery. Ferrell’s presentation, “Ethical Issues in Tax Practice,” will address standards for giving advice and signing returns; writing opinions; and uncertain tax positions.
