New York, NY Davis Polk partner Karen Wagner will be a panelist at an upcoming seminar presented by the Emerging Markets Trade Association (EMTA). “Mexican Bankruptcy – Legislation, Practices, Trends and Cross-Border Issues” will address topics such as how Mexican courts apply Mexican bankruptcy legislation, the advantages and disadvantages of bringing a bankruptcy case in a U.S. or Mexican court, how Chapter 15 would work with Mexican insolvency proceedings, how intercompany loans are treated under Chapter 11 and out-of-court reorganizations.
