For the second consecutive year, Turnarounds & Workouts named Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP partner Marshall Huebner to its list of “Outstanding Restructuring Lawyers.” Mr. Huebner was recognized for his work in 2009 as lead counsel to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and U.S. Department of Treasury on financing and capital management transactions for AIG totaling $180 billion; and to Citibank on an $8.5 billion DIP financing (the largest nongovernmental DIP to date) and the $23 billion fraudulent conveyance action in the Lyondell Chemical Company bankruptcy. T&W highlighted Mr. Huebner’s involvement in the AIG bailout in 2008 as well, along with his role as counsel to Freddie Mac in the government’s conservatorship of the company; Delta Air Lines and Frontier Airlines in their Chapter 11 proceedings; and the Star Tribune Company in its restructuring.
