In the last four years, through the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund, our lawyers have assisted nearly 150 transgender individuals in petitioning the court to change their names to those more reflective of their gender identity and gender expression.

We have also served as counsel to Gay Men’s Health Crisis on numerous corporate and litigation matters.

In addition, we have assisted the organization with research and drafted policy papers in areas involving needle exchange and blood donation policies.
