Turnarounds & Workouts has named Davis Polk litigation partner Elliot Moskowitz among its 2011 “Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers.” Moskowitz was recognized for his role as leading bankruptcy litigator in numerous contested matters in the Chapter 11 proceedings of LyondellBasell, Frontier Airlines and the Tribune Company.

With regard to Lyondell, Moskowitz achieved a very favorable settlement for Citi in a fraudulent conveyance lawsuit challenging the $21 billion leveraged buyout by Basell of Lyondell. Moskowitz was also noted for his representation of major financial institutions and creditors, including Citibank, BofA and JPMorgan, in connection with bankruptcies and reorganizations.
