Two Davis Polk deals were awarded “Deal of the Year” honors at the 2011 Global M&A Atlas Awards. The firm won “Food & Beverage Deal of the Year,” in connection with PepsiCo’s acquisition of its two largest bottlers, The Pepsi Bottling Group and PepsiAmericas; and “North America M&A Deal of the Year,” in connection with ExxonMobil’s $41 billion acquisition of XTO Energy. The awards were presented on March 10, 2011, in New York.
