Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP was named “M&A Team of the Year” at the International Financial Law Review’s 2010 Americas Awards. The firm won two awards in recognition of its M&A work, also earning “M&A Deal of the Year” honors in connection with the Roche/Genentech merger. Davis Polk advised Roche on its successful $46.8 billion contested acquisition of the 44% publicly held interest in Genentech. The deal is the largest-ever completed going-private transaction.
