Davis Polk earned "Restructuring of the Year" honors at the International Financial Law Review’s 2011 Europe Awards, in connection with LyondellBasel’s Chapter 11 case. A Davis Polk team led by Marshall Huebner and Bradley Smith advised Citibank as agent on the $11.1 billion exit financing and $8.5 billion debtor-in-possession financing for Lyondell. This was the largest non-governmental DIP loan yet provided to a U.S. debtor.
