Davis Polk is advising CVS Caremark Corporation in connection with the $250 million sale of its TheraCom business to AmerisourceBergen Corporation. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2011.

TheraCom is a Rockville, Maryland-based provider of commercialization support services to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, specifically providing reimbursement and patient access support services. Valley Forge, Pennsylvania-based AmerisourceBergen is one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical services companies serving the United States, Canada and selected global markets.
