New York, NY Davis Polk partner Angela Burgess will be a speaker at the American Conference Institute’s upcoming FCPA conference. Burgess will participate in a workshop entitled, “Project Plan for FCPA Internal Investigations: A Complete Guide on How to Set up, Manage and Conduct Thorough Internal Investigations into Bribery Allegations.” In recent years, regulatory developments, the rise of collateral civil litigation and increased individual prosecutions have led to changes to the landscape of FCPA investigations. The workshop will address the key elements of an internal investigation, as well as how an investigator can ensure an investigation is comprehensive and complete, particularly in light of these changes. The conference will be held April 11-14, 2011, in New York.
