Davis Polk is advising J.P. Morgan Securities LLC as financial adviser to AMB Property Corporation in connection with its merger of equals with ProLogis. The transaction, which is expected to close during the second quarter of 2011, is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of approval of AMB and ProLogis shareholders. Combined, the companies are expected to have a pro forma equity market capitalization of approximately $14 billion.
