Two Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP deals were recognized by Investment Dealers’ Digest as 2010 “Deals of the Year” in their respective categories.

Ford Motor Company’s restructuring, on which Davis Polk advised Ford, was awarded “Industrial Deal of the Year.” The company was able to retire $10 billion in debt in one of the largest out-of-court restructurings in history.

Warner Chilcott’s acquisition of Procter & Gamble’s global pharmaceuticals business won “Private Equity Deal of the Year.” Davis Polk represented the private equity-backed pharmaceutical company on the $3.1 billion purchase.
